[Impact of gender and age on multiple organ dysfunction syndrome and inflammatory cytokines after multiple injuries].
To investigate the impact of age and gender on multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) after multiple injuries and the possible mechanism. ⋯ Gender plays an important role in the occurrence of MODS following multiple injuries, but the effect of age on MODS seems only marginal and need to be further investigated.

[Risk of cerebral vasospasm following subarachnoid hemorrhage is associated with endothelial nitric oxide synthase gene polymorphism].
To study whether endothelial nitric oxide synthase gene (eNOS) polymorphisms is implicated in the development of cerebral vasospasm following subarachnoid hemorrhage. ⋯ The findings of the case-control and family-based studies clearly demonstrate that DNA sequence differences in eNOS gene influence the risk of cerebral vasospasm in subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Intravenous injection rate and site of fentanyl affect the incidence and onset time of fentanyl-induced cough].
To explore the effect of intravenous injection rate and site of fentanyl on the incidence and onset time of fentanyl-induced cough. ⋯ The rate of fentanyl injection through the same peripheral venous access at the same dose may affect the incidence and onset time of cough. At the same dose and injection rate of fentanyl, forearm venous access of injection resulted in earlier onset of cough than lower limb venous access, but the incidence is similar.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Postoperative analgesia with fentanyl combined with flurbiprofen axetil following gynecologic surgery for turnor].
a To observe the analgesic effect of fentanyl combined with flurbiprofen axetil for postoperative analgesia after gynecologic surgery. ⋯ Flurbiprofen axetil combined with fentanyl for postoperative analgesia can significantly reduce fentanyl dose and the incidence of adverse effects associated with fentanyl without obviously affecting the coagulation and gastrointestinal functions.
