[Correlation between CYP17 gene polymorphisms and female post adolescent acne in Han population in Hunan Province].
To explore the correlation between androgen-related CYP17 gene polymorphisms and female post adolescent acne in Han population in Hunan Province. ⋯ The presence of base substitution in androgen-related CYP17 gene at -34 bp (T-->C) increases the risk of post adolescent acne in female subjects with increased androgen levels.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Narcotrend for monitoring the anesthetic depth during endotracheal intubation in sevoflurane anesthesia].
To study the feasibility of using Narcotrend (NCT) in monitoring the anesthetic depth during endotracheal intubation in sevoflurane anesthesia. ⋯ NCT may reflect the changes of the anesthetic depth resulting from the nociceptive stimulus of tracheal intubation in sevoflurane- induced anesthesia. NCT and BIS can not serve such a purpose in combined anesthesia with sevoflurane and rocuronium.

[Accuracy of perioperative cardiac preload monitoring by global end-diastolic volume and intrathoracic blood volume in orthotopic liver transplantation].
To investigate the clinical value of global end-diastolic volume (GEDV) and intrathoracic blood volume (ITBV) in perioperative monitoring of the cardiac preload in patients undergoing orthotopic liver transplantations (OLT). ⋯ ITBV and GEDV are more reliable than PAOP and CVP in perioperative monitoring of the cardiac preload in patients undergoing OLT.

[Adrenal mitochondrial injury in early stage of sepsis in rats].
To study the pathogenesis of adrenal mitochondrial dysfunction in septic rats. ⋯ No obvious adrenal dysfunction occurs in the early stage of sepsis in rats. Mitochondrial injury, which is reversible, occurs in early sepsis without obvious evidence of oxidative stress injury in the adrenal mitochondria, suggesting a strong resistance and capacity of self-repair of the adrenal gland and the mitochondria against sepsis-induced injury.
