Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of different anesthesia depth on stress response in elderly patients undergoing elective laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer].
To investigate the effects of different anesthesia depth on stress response in elderly patients undergoing elective laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer. ⋯ Maintaining the anesthesia depth for a NI at the D2 and E1 level can both attenuate the stress response in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer, but the hemodynamic stability can be better at a D2 level.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of different doses of dexmedetomidine on cognitive dysfunction in elderly patients early after laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer].
To investigate the effect of different doses of dexmedetomidine (Dex) on early postoperative cognitive dysfunction in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer. ⋯ Dexmedetomidine with a loading dose of 0.5 µg/kg followed by maintenance doses of 0.5 and 0.8 µg·kg(-1)·h(-1) (preferentially 0.5 µg·kg(-1)·h(-1)) can reduce the incidence of POCD in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Comparison of 20% mannitol and 15% hypertonic saline in doses of similar osmotic burden for treatment of severe traumatic brain injury with intracranial hypertension].
To compare the effects of 15% hypertonic saline and 20% mannitol in doses of similar osmotic burden for treatment of intracranial hypertension in patients with severe traumatic brain injury. ⋯ Treatment with 15% hypertonic saline and 20% mannitol in doses of similar osmotic burden produces similar effects in management of increased ICP in patients with severe traumatic brain injury in terms of the time of action onset, maximum ICP reduction, and duration of action.

[Long-term follow-up of the femoral artery after total percutaneous endovascular aortic repair with preclose technique using a vascular closure device].
To evaluate the long-term outcome of the femoral artery following total percutaneous endovascular aortic repair (EVAR) with preclose technique using a vascular closure device (VCD). ⋯ Total percutaneous EVAR with preclose technique using VCD provides a safe and effective alternative to open femoral surgery. The sheath size can be a predictor of percutaneous access failure to require conversion to open femoral surgery or using more than 2 devices for suture. Total percutaneous endovascular aortic repair using VCD with preclose technique is safe and effective, which can be adopted as an alternative technique of surgically femoral arterial cut-down operation when the surgeon reduce the learning curve.

Controlled Clinical Trial[Dendritic cell-cytokine induced killer cell immunotherapy combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization for hepatocellular carcinoma: safety and efficacy].
To explore the clinical efficacy of dendritic cell-cytokine induced killer cell (DC-CIK) immunotherapy combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) for treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma. ⋯ Compared with TACE alone, DC-CIK immunotherapy combined with TACE can improve the patients' progression-free survival time but not the overall survival time. The combined therapy also improves the quality of life of the patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma and shows good treatment safety.
