[Effects of obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome and age on sleep architecture].
To investigate the effects of obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) and age on sleep architecture and the therapeutic effects of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP). ⋯ Between OSAHS and age, REM sleep and WTSO are more importantly affected by age, while OSAHS more strongly affects N3 sleep. CPAP can improve the sleep quality of patients with OSAHS.

[Effects of angiotensin-(1-7) on hippocampal expressions of GFAP and GDNF and cognitive function in rats with diabetes mellitus].
To explore the effects of angiotensin-(1-7) on the learning and memory abilities and the expressions of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) in the hippocampus of diabetic rats. ⋯ Ang(1-7) can alleviate cognitive dysfunction in diabetic rats possibly by up-regulating the expressions of GFAP and GDNF and promoting neuron survival in the hippocampus.

[Effects of carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum and steep Trendelenburg positioning on cerebral blood backflow during robotic radical prostatectomy].
To observe the effect of carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum and Trendelenburg position on cerebral blood backflow during robot-assisted radical prostatectomy in elderly patients. ⋯ Pneumoperitoneum and Trendelenburg position cause more obvious cerebral blood backflow in elderly patients than in middle-aged patients but do not affect cerebral metabolism of oxygen.

[Expression of connexin 43 in spinal cord dorsal horn of rats with acute incisional pain].
To examine the effect of acute incisional pain on the expression of connexin 43 in rat spinal cord dorsal horn. ⋯ Incision surgery induces an significant increase in connexin 43 expression in rat spinal cord dorsal horn, suggestting an potential role of connexin43 in postoperative incisional pain.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Application of dexmedetomidine combined with propofol in patients undergoing painless colonoscopy for colonic polyps resection under Narcotrend monitoring].
This clinical study was conducted to investigate the effects of dexmedetomidine (DEX) combined with propofol on vital signs and anaesthetic depth in patients. ⋯ Under Narcotrend monitoring, the value of DEX combined with low dose of propofol in colonoscopy for colonic polyps resection is to reach more reasonable depth of anesthesia to reduce adverse responses and the dose of propofol.
