Review Case ReportsBosworth fracture-dislocation of the ankle: a case report.
Bosworth fracture-dislocation of the ankle is a rare injury in which the proximal fibular fragment is entrapped behind the tibia. Closed reduction is extremely difficult to achieve. Early open reduction and internal fixation enables a better outcome by minimising soft-tissue damage. We report on a 36-year-old man who underwent open reduction and internal fixation for a Bosworth fracture-dislocation of the ankle complicated by severe soft-tissue swelling and an impending risk of skin necrosis after failed closed reduction.

Case ReportsLoeys-Dietz syndrome with bilateral radial head dislocations: a case report.
Loeys-Dietz syndrome is characterised by vascular aneurysms, hypertelorism, and a bifid uvula. We report on an 11-year-old boy with Loeys-Dietz syndrome who presented with bilateral radial head dislocations and severe osteopaenia with changes of avascular necrosis in both hips causing an out-toeing, wide gait. Considering the poor prognosis for elbow movement and possible radial head dysplasia, surgical reduction of the radial heads was deferred. A subtrochanteric de-rotation osteotomy of the left hip was performed to improve the gait.

Withholding clopidogrel for 3 to 6 versus 7 days or more before surgery in hip fracture patients.
PURPOSE. To compare morbidity and mortality after hip fracture surgery in patients withholding clopidogrel for 3 to 6 days versus ≥7 days or more. METHODS. ⋯ The main cause of death was cardiovascular. CONCLUSION. Withholding clopidogrel for <7 days before surgery conferred no increased risk in hip fracture patients.
