[Impact of lead-induced environmental pollution on children's health in Mongolia].
Studies were undertaken to evaluate lead-induced environmental pollution in the urban and rural areas of Mongolia. There was a correlation between blood lead levels in children and the lead pollution of air, soil, snow cover, which is well known to affect children's morbidity.

[Children's health in the petroleum region of the Republic of Tatarstan].
The paper provides a comprehensive assessment of the ecological situation of the most polluted town of the petroleum region. In-depth studies were made in 309 children aged 4-6 years from 4 children's preschool establishments. ⋯ Eighteen of the 309 children were classified as frequently ill. The physical development of children in the polluted area was less than that in the controls.

[Ambient air pollution and human health in the town of Nizhnekamsk].
The paper gives hygienic characteristics of ambient air pollution and examines human health in the town of Nizhnekamsk. There are worse demographic indices. ⋯ There are the highest morbidity rates in the polluted areas of the town. In these areas, respiratory allergoses (preasthma and bronchial asthma) occur more frequently than in the controls.
