What Affects Segmental Lordosis of the Surgical Site after Minimally Invasive Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion?
This study was undertaken to identify factors that affect segmental lordosis (SL) after minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (MIS-TLIF) by comparing patients whose postoperative SL increased with those whose decreased. ⋯ Changes in SL after MIS-TLIF appear to be associated with preoperative SL and PL, index level, and Yc. An index level at L4/5 instead of L3/4, smaller preoperative SL or PL, and an anterior position of the cage are likely to result in increased SL after MIS-TLIF.

Machine Learning Model for Classifying the Results of Fetal Cardiotocography Conducted in High-Risk Pregnancies.
Fetal well-being is usually assessed via fetal heart rate (FHR) monitoring during the antepartum period. However, the interpretation of FHR is a complex and subjective process with low reliability. This study developed a machine learning model that can classify fetal cardiotocography results as normal or abnormal. ⋯ The machine learning model developed in this study showed precision in classifying FHR signals. This suggests that the model can be applied to medical devices as a screening tool for monitoring fetal status.

Initial Abdominal CT and Laboratory Findings Prior to Diagnosis of Crohn's Disease in Children.
To identify initial abdominal computed tomography (CT) and laboratory findings prior to a diagnosis of Crohn's disease (CD) in children. ⋯ Multisegmental bowel involvement on CT and decreased albumin levels can help differentiate CD from infectious enterocolitis in children prior to a definite diagnosis of CD.

Effects of Asthma Medication Type on Asthma Exacerbation in a Real-World Setting.
Currently, there are multiple options for the pharmacological treatment of asthma. This study aimed to compare the effects of different asthma medications on exacerbation in a real-world setting. ⋯ In the real world, asthma medications affect asthma exacerbation variably according to the medication type.

Does the Suprascapular Nerve Move within the Suprascapular Notch? Biomechanical Perspective Using the Finite Element Method.
We aimed to analyze changes in suprascapular nerve (SSN) position within the suprascapular notch during in vivo shoulder abduction. ⋯ We identified changes in the position of the SSN path within the suprascapular notch during shoulder abduction. The SSN starts in contact with the TSL and moves toward the base of the suprascapular notch with secondary contact. These findings may provide rationale for TSL release in SSN entrapment.
