[Changes and role evaluation of TNF-α and IL-1β in lung tissues of ARDS mice].
Objective To study the expression levels of TNF-α and IL-1β in the lung tissues of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) mice and their relationships with the severity of lung injury in the mice. Methods A mouse model of ARDS was induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The morphological changes of lung tissue was observed by HE staining, and the lung injury score was calculated. ⋯ Simultaneously, the levels of TNF-α and IL-1β in BALF of ARDS mice significantly increased, and the tendency was consistent with mRNA levels in lung tissues. Conclusion LPS-induced lung injury and the expression levels of TNF-α and IL-1β in ARDS mice showed a similar "hump-like" increase over time. The high values of inflammatory mediators appeared before the peak of lung injury, which indicated that these inflammatory cytokines played an important role in the development of ARDS-caused inflammatory injury.

Meta Analysis[Association between cytotoxic T lymphocyte protein-4 polymorphisms and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma risk: a meta-analysis].
Objective To investigate the potential association of cytotoxic T lymphocyte associated protein 4 (CTLA4) polymorphisms with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) risk. Methods Two reviewers independently searched the PubMed, MEDLINE, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Chinese WanFang databases and Database of Chinese Scientific and Technical Periodicals (VIP) for relevant studies from January 1, 1990 to May 25, 2016. Odds ratios (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CI) for CTLA4 polymorphism and HNL risk were used to evaluate the strength of association. ⋯ The polymorphisms of the three alleles were not associated with genetic susceptibility to NHL (PZ>0.05 or 95%CI contains 1). In the subgroup analysis of CTLA4 +49A/G gene polymorphism, we found that AA was a risk factor for mixed type lymphoma (AA vs GG: OR=4.181, 95%CI: 1.362-12.833; AA+AG vs GG: OR=3.217, 95%CI: 1.055-9.810; AA vs AG+GG: OR=2.827, 95%CI: 1.345-5.940), but was a protect factor for B cell lymphoma (AA vs GG: OR=0.465, 95%CI: 0.251-0.863; AA vs AG+GG: OR=0.534, 95%CI: 0.362-0.788); AA was a risk factor in Italians (AA vs GG: OR=4.181, 95%CI: 1.362-12.833; AA+AG vs GG: OR=3.217, 95%CI: 1.055-9.810; AA vs AG+GG: OR=2.827, 95%CI: 1.345-5.940), but was a protect factor in Chinese (AA vs GG: OR=0.643, 95%CI: 0.417-0.992; AA vs AG+GG, OR=0.601, 95%CI: 0.395-0.913). Conclusion This meta-analysis suggests that the polymorphisms of the three alleles are not associated with genetic susceptibility to NHL.

[Adipose-derived stem cells promote the polarization from M1 macrophages to M2 macrophages].
To investigate the effects of adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) on M1/M2 macrophages and whether ADSCs are able to promote the polarization from M1 macrophages to M2 macrophages. ⋯ ADSCs can inhibit the gene expression of M1 macrophages and promote the gene expression of M2 macrophages, as well as mediate the polarization from M1 macrophages to M2 macrophages.

[Hyperoxia induces reactive oxygen species production and promotes SIRT1 nucleocytoplasmic shuttling of peripheral blood mononuclear cells in premature infants in vitro].
To explore the relationship between deacetylase sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) after oxygen therapy in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of the premature infants. ⋯ Hyperoxia induces ROS production in premature infants, promotes SIRT1 to cross from nucleus to cytoplasm, inhibits the resistant ability of SIRT1 to oxidative stress.

[The changes of Wnt7b/β-catenin signaling pathway molecules in the differentiation of fetal alveolar epithelial type II cells].
To investigate the changes of Wnt7b/β-catenin signaling pathway molecules in the differentiation of fetal rat alveolar epithelial type II cells (fAEC2). ⋯ Wnt7b/β-catenin signaling pathway may play an important role in fAEC2 transdifferentiation.
