Association between Low Back Pain and Neck Pain: A 3-Year Longitudinal Study Using the Data of the People after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Low back pain (LBP) and neck pain (NP) are common health problems worldwide. LBP often coexists with NP; however, the association between these pains remains unclear. The purpose of this study was to clarify the association between LBP and NP, focusing on dose-dependent effects. ⋯ Adjusted odds ratios (95% confidence intervals) were 2.44 (1.62-3.68) for "1" and 2.68 (1.77-4.05) for "≥ 2" in frequency when the absence of LBP was used as a reference (p for trend < 0.001). LBP is associated with NP in a dose-dependent manner. The association between LBP and NP should be considered to effectively treat these pains.

Presence of Helicobacter cinaedi in Atherosclerotic Abdominal Aortic Aneurysmal Wall.
Recently, the relationship between Helicobacter cinaedi (H. cinaedi) infection and several diseases, including cardiovascular and central nervous system disorders, bone and soft tissue disorders, and infectious abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs), has been reported. Moreover, H. cinaedi may be associated with arteriosclerosis. In the present study, we investigated the association between H. cinaedi infection and clinically uninfected AAAs. ⋯ Nine (23.1%) of 39 patients showed positive bands corresponding to H. cinaedi, and further sequencing analyses demonstrated the presence of H. cinaedi DNAs in their aneurysm walls. In contrast, all the non-aneurysm arterial walls in our patients were negative for H. cinaedi. In conclusion, this is the first report of the detection of H. cinaedi in the walls of a clinically non-infectious AAA.

CircRNA CircABCB1 Diminishes the Sensitivity of Breast Cancer Cells to Docetaxel by Sponging MiR‑153-3p.
Resistance to docetaxel is a major problem to the success of docetaxel-based therapies for breast cancer. The present study was to identify the role of circABCB1 in altering the docetaxel resistance properties. Reverse transcription-quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR) was performed to quantify circABCB1 and miR-153-3p. ⋯ The overexpression of circABCB1 contributed to cell viability, docetaxel-resistance and migration/invasion, but inhibited apoptosis. CircABCB1 can sponge miR-153-3p. CircABCB1 contributed to the docetaxel resistance of breast cancer, maybe via the miR-153-3p.

LncRNA TRHDE-AS1 and MiR-1275 as Promising Prognostic Biomarkers and Effects on Tumor Cell Progression in Gastric Cancer.
Gastric cancer is a common malignant tumor with a relatively poor prognosis after surgery. Non-coding RNA may serve as biomarkers for the progression and prognosis of various cancers. The clinical significance and biological function of lncRNA TRHDE-AS1 and miR-1275 in gastric cancer were assessed in this study. 119 paired tissues were selected with adequate clinical information. ⋯ LncRNA TRHDE-AS1 and miR-1275 can be considered two independent prognostic factors for gastric cancer. Furthermore, the upregulation of lncRNA TRHDE-AS1 inhibited cell proliferation, migration, and invasion of gastric cancer partly by miR-1275. LncRNA TRHDE-AS1/miR-1275 axis may be involved in the progression of gastric cancer and can be promising prognostic factors, which may provide new insights into the treatment of gastric cancer.

The Relationship between Insomnia and Lifestyle-Related Diseases among Japanese Male Truck Drivers.
Previously, insomnia and adverse lifestyle were prevalent among truck drivers, but the association between the two remains unknown in this particular occupational cohort. This study aimed to examine the relationship between insomnia and lifestyle-related diseases among truck drivers. We investigated 875 male truck drivers of the Japan Truck Association, Akita branch, as of July 2020. ⋯ Multivariate logistic regression models demonstrated that individuals with insomnia had approximately 2-fold increased risk of having at least one lifestyle-related disease (p < 0.001), hypertension (p = 0.0027), diabetes mellitus (p = 0.0654) and dyslipidemia (p < 0.001). Occupational characteristics including daily driving hours, driving distance, and travel days were not associated with any lifestyle-related diseases except for an association between short-haul and at least one disease. In conclusion, insomnia is significantly associated with increased risks of lifestyle-related diseases among male truck drivers in Japan.
