[Application of quality constant method in grade evaluation of Aurantii Fructus Immaturus pieces].
The grade classification of Chinese herbal medicines and their decoction pieces has always been a hot issue in the industry. In the trading history of Chinese herbal medicine, buyers and sellers often determine the price according to quality,so the naturally formed specifications and grades are changing with the change of technology and the increasing demand of the public for medical care. The planting, processing and circulation methods of Chinese medicinal materials have also changed greatly. ⋯ The hemispherical Aurantii Fructus Immaturus pieces: quality constant ≥1. 11 for the first grade,< 1. 11 but ≥0. 69 for the second grade, and <0. 69 for the third grade. The thin type Aurantii Fructus Immaturus pieces: quality constant ≥0. 024 for the first grade,<0. 024 but ≥0. 015 for the second grade, and <0. 015 for the third grade. This work indicated that the quality constants grading method can be used to objectively classify the grades of traditional Chinese medicine, providing basis for standardizing market behavior and providing useful reference for grading of hemispherical or thin Aurantii Fructus Immaturus pieces.

[Effect of Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets on immune-induced liver and kidney function in patients with rheumatoid arthritis based on data mining].
This paper aims to investigate the effect of oral administration of Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets combined with traditional Chinese medicine on immune inflammatory index in patients with rheumatoid arthritis,in order to explore the compatibility mode of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Medical records of hospitalized patients with rheumatology at the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2012 to December 2017 were collected. The combined administration of Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets and traditional Chinese medicine was adopted for the experimental group, while the simply administration of Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets were adopted for the control group. ⋯ The results of this study showed that the single administration of Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets can effectively improve the immune inflammatory metabolic index of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, and the combined administration of Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets and traditional Chinese medicine could alleviate the immune inflammatory index of RA patients and reduce liver and kidney dysfunction compared with simple oral administration. The comprehensive evaluation Ig M and hs-CRP in the group of combined administration of Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets and traditional Chinese medicine were better than those in the group of the Tripterygium Glycosides Tablets. There was a long-term correlation between the comprehensive evaluation index and the intervention measures of the two groups of patients.

[Study on quantification method of non-starch polysaccharides in Dendrobium catenatum].
The non-starch polysaccharides, mainly composed of glucomannans, are the major bioactive compounds in Dendrobium catenatum. In order to evaluate the quality of the medicinal materials and guide the production and processing,a quantification method of non-starch polysaccharides was established by stems of D. catenatum C15 strain collected from the pear epiphytic cultivation. The non-starch polysaccharides were obtained by " water extraction,α-amylase pretreatment, and alcohol precipitation once" method. ⋯ The method effectively digested starch and retained non-starch polysaccharides, and the analysis result was accurate and repeatable. Therefore,it is suitable for the content measurement of non-starch polysaccharides of D. catenatum. Furthermore,it could be an alternative method for quality control of D. catenatum and a reference in the determination of non-starch polysaccharides in other starch-containing medicinal materials.
