Menstrual characteristics and prevalence of dysmenorrhea in college going girls.
Dysmenorrhea is a common gynecological condition with painful menstrual cramps of uterine origin. Prevalence of primary dysmenorrhea is not yet clearly studied in central India. ⋯ Dysmenorrhea is found to be highly prevalent among college going girls. Family history, bleeding duration and presence of clots were significant risk factors for dysmenorrhea.

Clinical profile of non-traumatic acute abdominal pain presenting to an adult emergency department.
Abdominal pain is one of the most common reasons for presenting to the emergency depatment (ED) and the etiology is varied. ⋯ Abdominal pain is a common ED symptom and clinicians must consider multiple diagnoses, especially those that require immediate intervention to limit morbidity and mortality.
