[Stomatologic approach in patients with congenital coagulation deficit].
The purpose of the present paper was to resolve postoperative bleeding after oral surgery in patients with congenital coagulative defects, avoid transfusion of clotting factors and improve the patient's quality of life. ⋯ The results suggest that mouth washing with tranexamic acid prevents excessive oral bleeding in patients with congenital deficit of the coagulation system. Furthermore, a total elimination of the granulation tissue, that reduces the possibility of activation of the fibrinolytic mechanism, is also important.
