To compare the effect of intraperitoneal bupivacaine and lidocaine on reducing pain after diagnostic laparoscopy. ⋯ Compared with lidocaine and placebo, intraperitoneal bupivacaine significantly decreased postoperative pain, and this effect was long lasting.
