[A Systematic Review on Safety Evaluation of Treating Cardiovascular Diseases by Shuxuening In- jection].
Objective To systematically evaluate the safety of Shuxuening Injection ( SI) for treating cardiovascular disease in line with indications. Methods Ten databases such as Cochrane Li- brary, Medline, EMBase, Web of Science, Clinical Trials, CBM, CNKI, VIP, Wangfang Data, and Chinese Clinical Trial Registry Database were retrieved in October 2015 for collecting literatures on use of SI. Data were screened by inclusion and exclusion criteria. ⋯ It is difficult to get a clear judgment on the relationship be- tween the occurrence of these ADRs and drug dosage, drug administration, drug solvents, and combina- tion medications. Conclusions The general safety of using XI for treating cardiovascular diseases was acceptable in this systematic review. Although Xl was systematically analyzed to be safely used in case reports, mechanism studies or large sample observational studies are lack.

[Effects of Electroacupuncture on Gastrointestinal Motility and Expressions of VIP and CGRP in Functional Dyspepsia Model Rats].
Objective To observe the effects of electroacupuncture (EA) on vasoactive intesti- nal peptide (VIP) , calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) expression, gastric emptying, and small in- testine advance rate in functional dyspepsia (FD) rats. Methods Totally 48 SD rats were randomly di- vided into three groups, the blank group, the model group, and the EA group, 16 in each group. Except rats in the blank group, FD model was established by tail clamped stimulation plus irregular diet, and ice physiological saline gastrogavage for 14 successive days. ⋯ Compared with the model group, gastric residual rate was obviously reduced, small intestinal transit was obviously elevated, mRNA expression levels of VIP and CGRP in gastric antrum and jejunum tissue were obviously decreased (P <0. 05, P <0. 01). Conclusions EA could significantly decrease mRNA expressions of VIP and CGRP in gastrointestinal tract, accelerate gastric emptying rate and small intestinal transit rate. EA's improving the gastrointestinal motility might be related to decreasing mRNA expressions of VIP and CGRP in gastrointestinal tract, indicating that abnormal secretion braingut peptide might be one of important mechanisms for FD.

[Flavanoids Extracted from Onion Inhibited Activation of Microglia and Release of Proinflammatory Factors around the Hematoma in ICH Model Rats].
To study flavanoids extracted from onion (FEO) on the number of activated microglia and the release of proinflammatory factors in intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) model rat at different time points, and to explore its possible mechanism for treating ICH. ⋯ FEO using the ethanol reflux method could improve symptoms of ICH model rats possibly by inhibiting activation of microolia and the release of proinflammatory factors around the hematoma.

Randomized Controlled Trial[Effects of Tongxinluo Capsule on Platelet Activating Factor, Vascular Endothelial Function, Blood Flow of Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction in Acute Myocardial Infarction Patients after Delayed Percutaneous Coronary Intervention].
To explore effects of Tongxinluo Capsule (TC) on platelet activating factor (PAF), vascular endothelial function, thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) blood flow, and heart function in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients after delayed percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). ⋯ TC not only could prevent coronary embolism of AMI patients after delayed PCI, attenuate vascular endothelial injury, but also could improve TIMI blood flow, and strengthen cardiac systolic function.

[Imaging Observation of Scalp Acupuncture on Brain Gray Matter Injury in Stroke Patients with Cerebral Infarction].
To study features of brain gray matter injury in cerebral infarction patients and intervention of scalp acupuncture by using voxel-based morphology. ⋯ Brain gray matter structure is widely injured after cerebral infarction. Brain gray matter volume gradually decreased as time went by. Combined use of scalp acupuncture might inhibit the progression of gray matter injury more effectively.
