[Correlative study between character of bending strength of callus and X-ray density of callus in fracture healing process].
To set up an objective and non-injury method to estimate the fracture healing process. ⋯ It provided an objective method to assess fracture healing treated by the integration of TCM and WM.

[Study on combined acupunctural and general anesthesia in pneumonectomy].
Combined acupunctural and general anesthesia in pneumonectomy were studied. The result showed that general anesthesia complemented with electro-acupuncture at He Gu (LI 4) and San Yang Luo(SJ 8) reduced amount of Fentanyl 38-85 micrograms/h compared with general anesthesia alone. ⋯ It was considered that acupuncture in combination with general anesthesia could reduce dosage of anesthetics and the inhibition of physiological function. It is a practical and acceptable anesthetic method by the surgeon and patient.

Randomized Controlled Trial Clinical Trial[Clinical study in epidural injection with lappaconitine for post-operative analgesia].
This paper studied the effect and side-effect of Lappaconitine for post-operative analgesia with epidural injection. 50 patients who were operated in the upper abdomen with epidural anesthesia. These patients were randomly divided into 5 groups. The general condition of every group was similar. ⋯ The efficacy and the maintenance time of A, B, C groups were significantly different from that of group D (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). Although the effect of group C was less potent than that of group E (morphine injection), there was no side-effect as morphine had. It suggested that Lappaconitine for post-operative analgesia with epidural injection is effective and safe.

Randomized Controlled Trial Comparative Study Clinical Trial[A study on combined acupuncture and enflurane anesthesia for craniotomy].
The reinforcing effect of transcutaneous acupoint electric stimulation (TAES) with enflurane anesthesia during craniotomy was studied. 110 neurosurgical patients were randomly divided into three groups. Anesthesia was maintained with enflurane in group A (n = 40); in group B, enflurane anesthesia was supplemented by TAES with Han's acupoint nerve stimulator (HANS) at Hegu, Yuyao and Fengchi points on the operated side (n = 40); in group C, enflurane anesthesia was supplemented by TAES and scalp infiltration with 0.5% procaine (n = 30). ⋯ The hemodynamics was more stable during operation, and the patients recovered faster after operation in group B and C. It was concluded that TAES with HANS significantly potentiated the anesthetic effect and decreased the side effects of enflurane during operation, and that the triple combination of TAES, enflurane and scalp infiltration with procaine proved to be a better anesthetic method for craniotomy.
