Ibuprofen sodium is absorbed faster than standard Ibuprofen tablets: results of two open-label, randomized, crossover pharmacokinetic studies.

A novel ibuprofen (IBU) formulation, Advil(®) Film-Coated Tablets (IBUNa), was developed. ⋯ IBUNa is absorbed faster but to a similar extent as standard IBU formulations.
