To compare the outcomes between salvage radiotherapy (RT) and androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT), to investigate factors determining clinical progression (CP) in men with prostate cancer. ⋯ Salvage RT alone and combined with subsequent ADT provided PSA control in most patients, significantly increasing CP-free survival compared with initial ADT. Patients with a short PSA doubling time (<3 months) are at high risk of failed salvage treatment after RT, and initial ADT might be considered. Regardless of salvage method, advanced pathological stage and Gleason grade 5 were factors prognostic of CP.

Review Meta Analysis Comparative Study
Two routes of transobturator tape procedures in stress urinary incontinence: a meta-analysis with direct and indirect comparison of randomized trials.
Therapy (meta-analysis) Level of Evidence 1a. ⋯ The evidence for the equivalent effectiveness of TOT and TVTO when compared with each other is established over the short-term. Bladder injuries and voiding difficulties seem to be less with inside-out tapes on indirect comparison. An adequate long-term follow-up of the RCTs is desirable to establish the long-term continued effectiveness of transobturator tapes.

Randomized Controlled Trial Multicenter Study
Transfer of cysto-urethroscopy skills from a virtual-reality simulator to the operating room: a randomized controlled trial.
To assess whether real-time cysto-urethroscopy (CUS) performance improves by simulator-based training (criterion or predictive validity), addressing the research question 'Does practical skills training on the URO Mentor (UM, Simbionix USA Corp., Cleveland, OH, USA) virtual-reality simulator improve the performance of flexible CUS in patients'. ⋯ The results showed that interns who had trained on UM outperformed controls for a CUS procedure in a patient. Training for CUS on the UM is to be recommended for learning to respect tissue, procedural knowledge, flow of procedure and forward planning. Use of the UM to train interns with a specific interest in a surgical speciality in handling instruments, and time and motion, seems to be of limited value.
