Randomized Controlled Trial
The role of individually targeted information to reduce anxiety before colposcopy: a randomised controlled trial.
We investigated whether providing targeted information on an individual level by mail and by phone reduces anxiety in women referred to the colposcopy clinic. ⋯ Anxiety levels before primary colposcopy are surprisingly high, and are not reduced following individually targeted information given before colposcopy.

Is mode of delivery associated with postpartum depression at 6 weeks: a prospective cohort study.
To examine the relationship between delivery mode and postpartum depression at 6 weeks following hospital discharge. ⋯ Delivery mode had no significant impact on the development of postpartum depression in the main-effects model. However, it may interact with place of birth and other unmeasured factors to create a risk for depression.

Comparison of perinatal outcomes of shoulder dystocia alleviated by different type and sequence of manoeuvres: a retrospective review.
To evaluate the different types and sequences of manoeuvres to overcome shoulder dystocia and the rates of associated fetal injury. ⋯ Following the failure of McRoberts' manoeuvre, subsequent application of rotational methods and posterior arm delivery have similarly high success rates but the former may be associated with less fetal injury.

Persistence of urgency and urge urinary incontinence in women with mixed urinary symptoms after midurethral slings: a multivariate analysis.
To determine risk factors for persistence of urgency or urge urinary incontinence following midurethral sling surgery. ⋯ Urodynamic parameters, baseline urgency symptom severity, midurethral sling route and concomitant prolapse operation are important predictors of persistent urgency or UUI following midurethral sling.
