To investigate the incidence of skin diseases, the factors affecting the life quality, anxiety, and depression of patients with skin diseases and the correlation among the 3. A total of 1127 patients with skin diseases were selected online from March 2018 to June 2018. Logistic regression was used to analyze the factors influencing life quality, anxiety, and depression. ⋯ Additionally, sex, marital status, education, and family history of skin diseases were the main factors influencing depression. Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that the life quality, anxiety, and depression were positively correlated. Psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, acne, steroid-dependent dermatitis, and alopecia have a certain impact on the life quality of most patients, and may cause different degrees of anxiety and depression.

Vertebral compression fracture (VCF) is one of the most common diseases in spinal surgery. Traditional percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) under fluoroscopy is an effective method to treat vertebral compression fracture. However, there is still a risk of vascular nerve injury and infection caused by inaccurate or repeated puncture. Therefore, the purpose of this paper was to assess the accuracy of unilateral PVP guided by screw view model of navigation (SVMN) for VCF. ⋯ The SVMN guided percutaneous puncture needle insertion in PKP operation for VCF is an effective and safety technique. Besides, the SVMN has also been a contributor to reduce radiation doses and replace conventional fluoroscopy.

Cancer patients are in a state of systemic immunosuppression and are considered a highly vulnerable population in the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic. However, the relationship between cancer and the severity and mortality of patients with COVID-19 remains unclear. This study aims to evaluate whether cancer patients with COVID-19 may be at an increased risk of severe illness and mortality. ⋯ INPLASY202090093.

Plasma cell mastitis (PCM) is a benign suppurative disease of the breast based on the expansion of mammary ducts and infiltration of plasma cells. It is relatively rare clinically, and its main manifestations include nonperiodic breast pain, nipple discharge, areola lump, nipple depression, nipple fistula, among others. Modern medicine is mainly surgical treatment, which is easy to recur. The clinical practice shows that the overall treatment of patients with TCM syndrome differentiation using oral medicine combined with western medicine therapy, combined internal and external treatment, can significantly improve the curative effect, prevent recurrence, has a certain therapeutic advantage, but lack of evidence of evidence-based medicine. The purpose of this study is to study the efficacy and safety of oral traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) combined with western medicine therapy in the treatment of PCM. ⋯ The purpose of this study is to sort out and analyze the literature. This systematic review also does not involve endangering participant rights. Ethical approval was not required. The results may be published in a peer-reviewed journal or disseminated at relevant conferences. OSF REGISTRATION NUMBER:: doi 10.17605/OSF.IO/K9A78.

Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is the standard of care for the treatment of complex coronary artery disease. However, the optimal surgical treatment for patients with reduced left ventricular function with low ejection fraction (EF) is inconclusive. In our center, left-sided coronary grafting with bilateral internal thoracic artery (BITA) is generally the preferred method for surgical revascularization, also for patients with low EF. ⋯ Long-term survival (median follow up of 14 years, interquartile range, 11.2-18.9) was also similar between the groups. Propensity score matching (129 matched pairs) yielded similar early and long-term outcomes for the groups. This study did not demonstrate any clinical benefit for BITA compared with SITA revascularization in individuals with low EF.
