Ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL) refers to an ectopic ossification disease originating from the posterior longitudinal ligament of the spine. Pressing on the spinal cord or nerve roots can cause limb sensory and motor disorders, significantly reducing the patient's quality of life. At present, the pathogenesis of OPLL is still unclear. The purpose of this study is to integrate microRNA (miRNA)-mRNA biological information data to further analyze the important molecules in the pathogenesis of OPLL, so as to provide targets for future OPLL molecular therapy. ⋯ In this study, we established a potential miRNA-mRNA regulatory network associated with OPLL, revealing the key molecular mechanism of OPLL and providing targets for future treatment or prevent its occurrence.

Osteoporosis (OP) and related fragility fractures are a significant public health problem which leads to pain, disability, loss function of independence, considerable complications and increased mortality. Exercise training is the only alternative strategy to improve multiple skeletal and fall risk factors simultaneously. Wuqinxi is 1 of the Chinese mind-body exercises using to improve physical and mental health and fight against diseases for thousands of years. Our study aims to systematically review the existing literature to further explore the efficacy and safety of Wuqinxi in the prevention and treatment of osteopenia and OP. ⋯ INPLASY202040135.

Comparative Study Observational Study
CT manifestations of the coronavirus disease 2019 of imported infection versus second-generation infection in patients outside the original district (Wuhan, China) of this disease: An observational study.
To explore the discrepancy in computed tomography (CT) manifestations of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in patients outside the original district (Wuhan, China) between cases with imported infection and second-generation infection, 22 patients with COVID-19 from 2 hospitals in Nanchong, China, 938 km away from the original district (Wuhan, China) of this disease were enrolled. All patients underwent initial and follow-up CT after admission during the treatment, and were divided into 2 groups. Group A and B were composed of 15 patients with a history of exposure to the original district (Wuhan, China) in short-term (i.e., imported infection), and 7 with a close contact with the patients with confirmed COVID-19 or with the healthy individuals from the original district (i.e., second-generation infection), respectively. ⋯ Patients with extent and density scores of ≥5 were more frequent in group A than in group B (all P-values < .01). Additionally, 3 of 4 (75%) patients with normal initial CT findings had focal pure GGO lesions on follow-up. In conclusion, COVID-19 in patients with a history of exposure to the original district can be severer than with the second-generation infection on CT.

Case Reports
Cutaneous metastasis of ascending colon cancer harboring a BRAF V600E mutation: A rare case report.
Cutaneous metastases from colorectal cancer are extremely rare and generally appear several years after diagnosis or resection of the primary colorectal tumor. Although cutaneous metastasis is unusual, it often indicates a poor prognosis. ⋯ Cutaneous metastasis of colorectal cancer with BRAF V600E mutation is a rare but important phenomenon that should not be ignored. Cutaneous metastasis of colorectal cancer frequently indicates advanced disease and poor prognosis. The SWOG 1406 program is one of the treatment options, but this needs further exploration.

Coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMVD), highly prevalent among patients with a mental disorder (anxiety or depression), is closely related to adverse cardiac events, including hospitalization, sudden cardiac death, and myocardial infarction. Shexiang Tongxin Dropping Pills (STDP), a traditional Chinese medicine, exerts endothelial protective function by anti-inflammation, anti-oxidative stress, and promoting blood circulation. STDP protects against CMVD in previous fundamental studies. The present trial is aiming at evaluating the effect of STDP on CMVD among depressed or anxious patients with non-obstructive coronary artery disease (NOCAD). ⋯ Seventy-two depressed or anxious patients diagnosed with NOCAD combined with CMVD utilizing coronary artery angiography and stress cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) will be recruited in the present study. These patients will be randomized into two groups, namely, Nicorandil group (Nicorandil combined with routine medicine), and STDP groups (STDP combined with routine medicine). The change of CMVD status by assessing absolute myocardial blood flow and myocardial reperfusion using stress CMR 3-month after discharge is defined as the primary endpoint. Major adverse cardiac events (MACEs), quality of life (QOL), and metal disorder improvement are defined as the secondary endpoints. Seattle angina questionnaire (SAQ) which is used to assess angina pectoris and QOL will be recorded at 1-, 3-, 6-, 9-, 12-month of follow-up. Seven-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7) and 9-item depression module from the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ9) which utilized to evaluate anxiety and depression, respectively, will be recorded at 1-, 3-, 6-, 9-, 12-month of follow-up. This study will first evaluate the efficacy of STDP on CMVD among patients with a mental disorder and NOCAD, and discuss the potential mechanisms, providing therapeutic evidence for the STDP for these patients.
