In recent decades, artificial intelligence (AI) has played an increasingly important role in medicine, including dermatology. Worldwide, numerous studies have reported on AI applications in dermatology, rapidly increasing interest in this field. However, no bibliometric studies have been conducted to evaluate the past, present, or future of this topic. ⋯ Halpern (n = 11) were the institution and author with the highest number of papers, respectively. Based on keyword co-occurrence analysis, the studies were categorized into 9 distinct clusters, with clusters 2, 3, and 7 containing keywords with the latest average publication year. Wound progression prediction using machine learning, the integration of AI into teledermatology, and applications of the algorithms in skin diseases, are the current research priorities and will remain future research aims in this field.

To investigate the predictive value of T2 star-weighted angiography (SWAN) combined with 3-dimensional (3D) arterial spin labeling (3D-ASL) to assess cerebral perfusion status and clinical prognosis in chronic unilateral middle cerebral artery (MCA) M1 occlusion. This study included 55 patients diagnosed with chronic unilateral MCA M1 occlusion using 3D time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography between January 2018 and July 2022. Based on the prominent vessel sign (PVS) shown in the SWAN sequence, the patients were divided into PVS-positive (n = 26) and PVS-negative (n = 29) groups. ⋯ Furthermore, the CBF values of the affected frontal, parietal, and temporal lobes were significantly lower in the ischemic cerebrovascular event group than in the non-ischemic cerebrovascular event group (P < .05). According to the receiver operating characteristic curve, the CBF values of the affected frontal, parietal, and temporal lobes in patients with chronic unilateral MCA M1 occlusion strongly correlated with ischemic cerebrovascular disease within 12 months. PVS-negative display and good collateral circulation were closely related to clinical prognosis in patients with chronic unilateral MCA M1 occlusion.

Chronic liver disease (CLD) may be a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, as well as a reduction in health-related quality of life. In Ethiopia, however, little is known about the effect of CLD on quality of life. The purpose of this study was to evaluate CLD patients' health-related quality of life and associated factors. ⋯ In this study setting, all dimensions of health-related quality of life of patients with CLD were compromised. Antiviral treatment for HBV infection, beta-blocker treatment, and the presence of complications such as ascites were all found to be significantly related to health-related quality of life. This necessitates going above and beyond standard treatments to improve patients' quality of life with CLD.

Osteochondroma is one of the most common primary benign bone tumors. In most cases, this disease is asymptomatic. However, it may become symptomatic owing to nerve and vascular compression when it affects the knee joint. Isolated tibial nerve palsy caused by proximal fibular osteochondroma is rare. ⋯ As in our case, if a bony lesion is diagnosed on radiographs with neurological symptoms, early decompression surgery is necessary. Moreover, since it can be misdiagnosed as a simple bony spur, magnetic resonance imaging and tissue biopsy are also indicated.

To explore the mechanism of Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside (TWP) in the treatment of membranous nephropathy (MN) by network pharmacology. TCMSP and DrugBank databases were used to screen the main targets of the main active components of Tripterygium glycosides, and OMIM and Gene Cards databases were used to search the gene targets of MN. UniProt database was used to normalize all the targets to get the intersection targets of TGs and MNs. ⋯ It mainly involves AGE-RAGE signaling pathway, lipid and atherosclerosis, IL-17 signaling pathway, fluid shear stress and atherosclerosis, NF-kappa B signaling pathway and other pathways and biological pathways in diabetic complications. The active component of that Tripterygium glycosides and the active site of the synergistic core target can the bond energy is less than -5kJ/mol. Tripterygium glycosides can regulate the release of inflammatory factors to treat MN through multiple active components, multiple disease targets, multiple biological pathways and multiple pathways, which provides a basis for broadening the clinical use of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of MN.
