It has a long history of preventing and treating disease using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). In recent years, it has been widely used in adjuvant therapies of in vitro fertilization - embryo transfer (IVF-ET) in China. To observe the effect and safety of Shoutai Wan on pregnancy outcomes after IVF-ET. ⋯ The results of this retrospective cohort study revealed that Shoutaiwan combined with luteal support treatment can significantly decreased the miscarriage rate in pregnancy undergoing IVF-FET compared to the group accepted only luteal support treatment (P = .001). Meanwhile, St during pregnancy did not affect fetal birth weight (P = .354), and there was no adverse event in the St group reported, which confirmed the safety of TCM for fetus protection during pregnancy. This study not only provides evidences for the clinical administration of Shoutai Wan in IVF-ET, but also provides a novel direction for basic research into the subsequent innovative application of TCM.

Use total portosystemic shunt to rescue an emergency PNF with intractable hypotension: A case report.
Living donor allogeneic liver transplantation is a surgical treatment for patients with end-stage liver disease, wherein a healthy liver is implanted in the patient, facilitating the recovery of the liver function in patients with end-stage liver disease. However, primary nonfunction (PNF) may occur as a result of this procedure. ⋯ The lesson we have learned is that total portosystemic shunt composited with careful anesthesia management can rescue the event of PNF with intractable hypotension in liver transplantation surgery. At the same time, we give attention to blood pressure, electrocardiogram, albumin, calcium, potassium, acidosis, coagulopathy, anti-infection, and protection of vital organs is essential for successful retransplant outcomes.

The Brunner adenoma of the duodenum with positive fecal occult blood and anemia: A case report.
Brunner gland adenoma (BGA) is a rare benign duodenal tumor that is an adenomatoid lesion in nature rather than an actual tumor. Patients with different adenoma sizes have various clinical manifestations with nonspecific clinical symptoms. Here, We report a case of BGA with black stool and anemia as the primary manifestations. ⋯ Brunner adenoma of the duodenum is a rare benign duodenum tumor. This report paper describes a case of BGA with black stool and anemia as the primary manifestations, followed by endoscopic resection and treatment. The literature on Brunner adenoma of the duodenum has been analyzed and discussed. Clinicians should pay attention to differentiating the disease based on atypical symptoms.

The green bad omen in blood smear and the potential of blood purification therapy: A case report.
Green inclusions (GI) are distinct morphological features found in phagocytic cells like neutrophils and monocytes. These intracellular structures exhibit bright green color with unclear boundaries, and their origin and clinical significance are still not fully understood. GI carriers, often middle-aged to elderly with liver dysfunction, face higher mortality rates, earning them the nickname "inclusions of death." This report presents a rare GI-related pediatric case, demonstrating a favorable response to blood purification therapy. ⋯ This case underscores the complexities in managing GI-related pediatric cases. Moreover, it emphasizes the potential benefits of blood purification therapy in such scenarios. Notably, this study highlights a potential correlation between the level of GI in peripheral blood and disease severity, particularly in pediatric cases. While these findings hold clinical significance for the treatment and management of GI-related patients, further research focusing on middle-aged and elderly individuals is imperative to elucidate the fundamental relationship between peripheral blood GI quantity and clinical presentation and to evaluate the efficacy of blood purification in GI-related cases.

MET-TKI is a late-stage treatment for drug-resistant NSCLC that has been marketed in recent years, and interstitial lung disease may be a rare adverse reaction. This case reports the development of interstitial lung disease in a patient with advanced lung cancer who developed during treatment with savolitinib after resistance to osimertinib. ⋯ This case reported interstitial lung disease following osimertinib plus savolitinib. This suggests that healthcare providers should be aware of early symptoms of interstitial lung disease during treatment and treat them appropriately to prevent symptoms from worsening.
