To explore the mechanism of Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside (TWP) in the treatment of membranous nephropathy (MN) by network pharmacology. TCMSP and DrugBank databases were used to screen the main targets of the main active components of Tripterygium glycosides, and OMIM and Gene Cards databases were used to search the gene targets of MN. UniProt database was used to normalize all the targets to get the intersection targets of TGs and MNs. ⋯ It mainly involves AGE-RAGE signaling pathway, lipid and atherosclerosis, IL-17 signaling pathway, fluid shear stress and atherosclerosis, NF-kappa B signaling pathway and other pathways and biological pathways in diabetic complications. The active component of that Tripterygium glycosides and the active site of the synergistic core target can the bond energy is less than -5kJ/mol. Tripterygium glycosides can regulate the release of inflammatory factors to treat MN through multiple active components, multiple disease targets, multiple biological pathways and multiple pathways, which provides a basis for broadening the clinical use of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of MN.

The aim of this study was to analyze the causes, clinical characteristics, social factors, and current status of treatment of traumatic dental injury (TDI) in the primary dentition. A retrospective analysis was performed on 144 children (213 teeth) with TDI in the primary dentition from our hospital between December 2017 and June 2020. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test and the Mann-Withney-Wilcoxon test. ⋯ Age, gender, collision, and fall are the factors linked to a higher risk of TDI in the primary dentition in children under the age of 7. Resin filling (or preformed crown) restoration and pulpectomy are effective in preserving the affected tooth and controlling infection. However, the preservation of the affected tooth and the prevention of infection may be hampered by late visits and low follow-up rates.

This study utilized data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) to investigate the association between the systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult males. The SII is a novel index derived from the counts of neutrophils, lymphocytes, and platelets in the peripheral blood and serves as a comprehensive indicator of the immune response and inflammation levels. The study included 3601 participants from the NHANES 2001-2004 cycle. ⋯ Our findings suggest that higher levels of the SII are independently associated with an increased risk of ED in adult males. The SII may serve as a valuable biomarker for identifying individuals at higher risk of ED and may aid in the development of tailored treatment approaches. Further research is needed to explore the underlying mechanisms and potential therapeutic implications.

Intralymphatic histiocytosis of the upper eyelid in a patient of Korean descent: A case report.
Diagnosing intralymphatic histiocytosis can be challenging due to its rarity. We present a case of intralymphatic histiocytosis in the upper eyelid of a Korean patient. We treated the condition by surgical debulking and intralesional triamcinolone injection. ⋯ Ophthalmologists should consider intralymphatic histiocytosis in cases of persistent eyelid swelling that do not respond to treatment, even in Asian patients. Surgical debulking and intralesional triamcinolone injections may be beneficial for improvement.

Observational Study
Infection with COVID-19 is a risk factor for poor prognosis in patients with intracranial hemorrhage: A prospective observational cohort study.
This research aimed to explore the COVID-19 infection in the prognosis of patients with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), as well as analyzed the risk factors of the poor prognosis. This present prospective observational cohort study enrolled 136 patients with ICH who were admitted in our hospital during May 2020 to July 2022. The diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction. ⋯ Infection of COVID-19, FPG, white blood cell, national institutes of health stroke scale, Glasgow coma scale and hematoma volume were the risk factors for poor prognosis in patients with ICH. This study showed that the proportion of patients with diabetes, the mRS score after 3 months and the levels of FPG, D-D were remarkably elevated in the ICH patients in COVID-19 group compared to the control group. This study may provide the effective preventive and treatment measures for the burden of ICH on families and society.
