Lipoma Arborescens is a rare pathology that mainly affects the knee. Occurrences in the elbow are even more uncommon and mainly involve the bicipitoradial bursa. ⋯ This is the first illustrated case report about lipoma arborescens involving the whole elbow joint. Even though it is a rare disease, awareness of its presentation, imaging patterns, and treatment options is therefore important for clinicians, radiologists, and surgeons. In this case, arthroscopic treatment resulted in satisfactory and long-lasting pain relief and functional results. It may be considered as a safe and effective option in case of failed nonoperative measures.

Metatarsalgia refers to localized or generalized forefoot pain in the region of the metatarsal heads. Often this pain is plantar, beneath the metatarsal heads, and arises from either mechanical or iatrogenic causes. The treatment of metatarsalgia remains controversial. A thorough understanding of the biomechanics of the forefoot and the underlying pathology of the particular type of metatarsalgia affecting the patient is a prerequisite to selecting the proper treatment. In recent years, massage therapy has been increasingly accepted by patients due to its lower costs, fewer unwanted side effects, and safety for clinical use. In this systematic review, we aim to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of massage therapy for patients with metatarsal pain. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/C6KFJ.

De Quervain disease (DQD) is a common clinical disease. As a strainingdisease, DQD is more common in women who frequently engage in manual operations. The main clinical symptoms are local pain and dysfunction. Many clinical studies have reported that moxibustion has a good effect on the treatment of DQD, but there is no relevant systematic review. So the purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of moxibustion in treating DQD. ⋯ INPLASY2020100111.

Thoracic facet joint disorder is a common thoracic disorder in clinic, inducing pain and discomfort at the dislocated thoracic vertebrae, radiating to pain of the neck and back. The incidence of thoracic facet joint disorder is higher than the facet disorder of the cervical and lumbar vertebrae. Therefore, an ideal strategy to relieve thoracic facet joint disorder is urgently needed. In recent years, massage therapy has been increasingly accepted by thoracic facet joint disorder patients due to its lower costs, fewer unwanted side effects and safety for clinical use. In this systematic review, we aim to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of massage therapy for patients with thoracic facet joint disorder. ⋯ DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/XMEJD.

Sonography-guided trigger point injections in abdominal myofascial pain syndrome.
Even though chronic abdominal pain is 1 of the most common reasons for hospital visits, diagnostic testing is often time-consuming and treatment is inadequate. Abdominal myofascial pain syndrome (AMPS) is usually not included as a differential diagnosis, but it should be considered in cases of chronic abdominal pain. The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical characteristics of AMPS and to assess the effect of sonography-guided trigger point injections (TPI). ⋯ Moreover, patients who received the injections 2 or more times tended to have more significant pain reduction than those who received a single injection (P < .001). Patients with AMPS suffer from long-term pain and undergo many hospital visits and diagnostic tests. TPI with lidocaine can be an effective and safe treatment for patients with chronic AMPS.
