Observational StudyDalteparin and Rivaroxaban Sequential Use in Cancer Patients with Venous Thromboembolism.
To determine the effect and safety of sequential treatment with the low-molecular-weight heparin dalteparin and the direct oral anticoagulants rivaroxaban in patients with cancer- associated venous thromboembolism (VTE). ⋯ Maintenance of rivaroxaban after initial dalteparin treatment could effectively reduce the risk of VTE recurrence and was well tolerated by patients with cancer-associated VTE. However, in the clinical practice, the treatment duration is often insufficient, so it is essential to follow-up these patients to ensure sufficient treatment time. Key Words: Venous thromboembolism, Low-molecular-weight heparins, Directly oral anticoagulants, Cancer.

Case ReportsAngioembolisation for the Treatment of Pseudo-aneurysm of Internal Maxillary Artery.
Pseudo-aneurysm of internal maxillary artery, following a road traffic accident, is a rare clinical scenario. The consequence of pseudo-aneurysm may be spontaneous rupture of the arterial wall, which may eventually lead to life-threatening hemorrhage. ⋯ Similar cases of traumatic pseudo-aneurysms have been reported, however, none presented with recurrent epistaxis after management of pan-facial fractures. Key Words: Epistaxis, Pseudo-aneurysm, Angioembolisation, Pan-facial fracture.

. Seminomatous germ cell tumour (SGCT) is a rare but curable malignancy of young adults. The literature on management and outcome of SGCT is scarce from India. We report the demography and treatment outcome of SGCT at our centre. ⋯ . SGCTs have a high cure rate. Long-term follow-up is essential for monitoring toxic effects. Early diagnosis, avoidance of testicular violation and multidisciplinary management are the key features for better long-term outcome in SGCT.

With the emergence of COVID-19, telemedicine use has increased dramatically as clinicians and patients have looked for alternatives to face-to-face care. Prior research has shown high levels of patient satisfaction and comparable quality of care. Video visits have been hypothesized to be one way to reduce burnout among clinicians, but there has been minimal research on physician views of virtual care. We sought to measure family physician experience with video visits at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. ⋯ This study is among the first to assess physician experience with video visits. As the visits are perceived as shorter, they may offer a unique opportunity to address clinician burnout. There was a high level of satisfaction at our institution despite multiple technical challenges.
