Helicobacter pylori infection is a significant global health concern. It cannot be diagnosed based solely on the patient's medical history and symptoms, and laboratory and imaging tests are often required to confirm the diagnosis. Both noninvasive and invasive methods are available for diagnosing H. pylori infection, including conventional and advanced detection techniques. ⋯ It is essential to treat all patients infected with H. pylori. This represents a significant change in the approach, as the treatment was recommended previously only for patients showing symptoms of infection. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the limitations of traditional diagnostic methods and help raise awareness among healthcare professionals about the latest advances in diagnosing this important bacterium.

he aim of our research is to prove, that the transplanted hepatocytes can survive and compensate for inadequate liver function in experimental animals. Thesis discusses the basic principles of hepatocyte transplantations, the process of their adaptation and effect on the organism as well as possibilities of their further use as a promising treatment method. In the experiment we used hepatocytes isolated and produced from explanted livers of laboratory rats. ⋯ Livers of all animals were explanted and sent for histopathological analysis which used classical histological methods. After evaluating the results we observed significant changes of evaluated laboratory levels in blood serum and weight in experimental animals after the transplantation of hepatocytes in comparison with the laboratory results of the control group of healthy animals and groups with liver damage without transplanted hepatocytes. The results of our experiment show that by biochemical and histological analysis we managed to clearly prove the function of transplanted hepatocytes in the model of laboratory rat with impaired liver function (Tab. 5, Fig. 17 , Ref. 17) Keywords: liver, transplantation, hepatocytes, liver tumors, resection of liver, liver failure, experiment.

Improving hypertension control is a national priority. Electronic health record data have the potential to augment traditional surveillance systems. This study aimed to assess hypertension prevalence and control at the state level using a previously established electronic health record-based phenotype for hypertension. ⋯ This study provided the first-ever estimates of hypertension control for all states and Washington DC. Electronic health record-based surveillance could support hypertension prevention and control efforts at the state level.

Quality of life for androgen receptor targeted agents in patients with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer.
Few studies have evaluated health-related quality of life (HRQoL) with abiraterone acetate plus prednisone (abiraterone) compared to enzalutamide in metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). So, this study aimed to assess impact of abiraterone and enzalutamide on patients´ functioning in mCRPC real-world setting. ⋯ According to the results of this study, abiraterone and enzalutamide had a comparable impact on quality of life in chemo-naive mCRPC in routine practice (Tab. 4, Fig. 4, Ref. 23).
