AbstractBioterrorism is terrorism by intentional release of viruses, bacteria, toxins or other agents to cause illness or death in people. Especially, anthrax, smallpox, plague, botulism, tularemia, and viral hemorrhagic fevers are important illness due to biological agents with a high potential for adverse public health impact. These biological agents can be spread through the air, through water, or in food and may cause disasters in the society. Furthermore, difficulties in detection and identification of the bioterrorism agents may result in immense harm. Then we need to take actions for the preparation for unexpected events to keep the damage to a minimum.
