AbstractSpinal cord stimulation is the main neuromodulation therapy for certain chronic neuropathic pain conditions. This article describes neuromodulation and the process of spinal cord stimulation therapy. It also clarifies the suitability of a patient for referral and consideration for spinal cord stimulation.
