AbstractEssentials Athletes on anticoagulants are typically prohibited from participation in contact sports. Short-acting anticoagulants allow for reconsideration of this precedent. Many challenges and unresolved issues exist regarding such tailored intermittent dosing.© 2017 International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
