AbstractThe radioallergosorbent test (RAST) is proving valuable for experimental work in allergy research and as an in-vitro supplement in the diagnosis of clinical allergy. A detailed description of the materials and procedures required to establish the technique as a routine laboratory method, and data obtained in setting up the method for use with a variety of allergens commonly encountered in Australia are presented.
