    AbstractAn elevated risk of hepatoblastoma for children with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome or isolated hemihyperplasia is well established. We describe five children with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome or isolated hemihyperplasia for whom serial serum alpha-fetoprotein screening, usually in combination with abdominal ultrasound, led to early detection of hepatoblastoma.
