AbstractWe describe a child who had anaphylactic hypersensitivity to imiglucerase therapy for Gaucher disease. Treatment was stopped and symptoms returned. After immune desensitization to imiglucerase using a rush protocol, the patient was able to resume treatment and has not had further hypersensitivity complications to date.
