    AbstractDiverse classes of medications are associated with QT interval prolongation and expose patients to the risk of potentially fatal ventricular arrhythmias. Clinicians can minimize adverse events by avoiding prescription of multiple medications associated with QT interval prolongation in high-risk patients.
