AbstractWe present the case of a 32-year-old woman with a left empyema and T12 osteomyelitis resulting from group B Streptococcus infection occurring 3 weeks after instrumental delivery of a healthy boy. Empyema is a rare complication of instrumental delivery, and this patient highlights the maternal risk resulting from group B Streptococcus bacteremia.Copyright © 2022 American College of Chest Physicians.
