AbstractTranscription factor YY1 is an important regulator of many pathways in tumor cell growth, prognosis, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, invasion, and resistance to chemotherapy. These effects lead to upregulation of YY1 associated with poor outcomes in many tumors. Growing research evidence suggests that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play important roles in the regulatory network of YY1. YY1 can regulate lncRNA, and serve as the regulatory molecule of YY1, and lncRNA and YY1 even form a feedback loop. In this review, we summarize the relevant mechanisms of the interaction between YY1 and noncoding RNAs during tumor progression, which will provide a possible theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of tumors.Copyright © 2022 the Author(s).
