BackgroundDelayed enhancing white matter lesions are a rare complication that develops after endovascular treatment of cerebral aneurysms, the etiology of which remains unclear. Methods And ResultsWe present a 52-year-old female patient who was symptomatic with a seizure-like condition and showed reversible cranial parenchymal changes with high-dose cortisone treatment after endovascular stent-assisted coil embolization for an unruptured aneurysm in the internal cerebral artery.ConclusionsClinicians should be alert to this rare complication and should follow patients for a long time due to its fluctuating and long-term course.Copyright © 2024 Elsevier Inc.
