AbstractBicuspid aortic valve is a common congenital cardiac anomaly that poses a surgical challenge in young patients. We describe replacement of a bicuspid aortic valve with a stentless glutaraldehyde-treated autologous pericardial prosthesis in a 16-year-old girl.
