AbstractThe case of a 58-year old patient, who nearly experienced cardiac arrest due to growing oxygen deficiency, was presented. The arrest was brought about by the impossibility to perform endotracheal intubation. A laryngeal mask successfully replaced an intubation tube and enabled artificial lung ventilation and restoration of correct blood oxygenation.
