    AbstractFour cases of severe Lepiota poisoning, including three which developed toxic fulminant hepatitis treated by orthotopic hepatic transplantation, are reported here. The toxicity of the Lepiota is discussed as well as the indications for hepatic transplantation in poisonings due to amatoxin-containing mushrooms.
