AbstractTelemedicine helps developing countries deliver medical services to underdeveloped rural areas where health resources are deficient. This paper examines the evolution of telemedicine in China, analyzes factors influencing the diffusion of telemedicine, and provides recommendations to overcome obstacles to telemedicine.
