AbstractWith the enormous increase of alcohol consumption after a period of latency of many years an increase of organic damage is associated, the knowledge of which leads to correct diagnosis. Most often the liver, the central organ of alcohol decomposition, is affected. Many other organs are involved in a specific way. Symptomatology and diagnosis are dealt with in detail.
