    AbstractThe Assessment of Cardioversion Using Transesophageal Echocardiography (ACUTE) trial compared cardioversion following transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) against conventional management of atrial fibrillation (ie, cardioversion following 3 weeks of anticoagulation) in patients scheduled to undergo electrical cardioversion.
