    [Gabapentin for neurophatic pain in children: a case report].

    AbstractGabapentin is used as an analgesic in neuropathic pain. In this report a children with nerophatic pain because of mercury poising was followed-up for pain and side effects with the use of gabapentin. Pain reduction was good throughout the patient treatment. Severe side effects did not occur. Gabapentin was effective and well tolerated in the treatment of neuropathic pain in children.
