    AbstractArrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is an increasingly recognized cause of ventricular tachycardia and sudden cardiac death in young people, notably young athletes. The best treatment is not clear, although options include antiarrhythmic drugs, radiofrequency ablation, and implantable defibrillators.
