    AbstractThis article describes the diagnostic possibilities of research of NT-BNP level in blood of the patients of elderly and senile age with congestive heart failure. Statistically significant correlation between BNP concentration and a functional class of heart insufficiency is revealed. Definition of BNP level enables to diagnose differentially the difficult forms of congestive heart failure.
