ObjectiveTo report a rare case of fish-hook eyelid injury.MethodsInterventional case-report. A 25-year-old man presented with an upper eyelid fish-hook wound.ResultsThe hook was extracted under local anaesthesia using the back-out method. Postoperatively, no complications were observed.ConclusionsIn the absence of serious ocular damage, the back-out method seems to be the best option for the removal of the hook in eyelid injuries.
