AbstractOptions for hemodynamic and cerebral perfusion monitoring in pediatric anesthesia are limited, but it should be used to reduce the potential damage due to hypotension and reduced cerebral perfusion. Non-invasive blood pressure measurement should be used in all cases of pediatric anesthesia and near-infrared spectroscopy for risk pediatric patients. In former times measurement of non-invasive blood pressure had no priority, this is not state of the art based on current data.© Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart · New York.
