AbstractHepatic encephalopathy (HE) is an uncommon complication of total parenteral nutrition (TPN). Cytotoxic edema has not been reported in children with TPN-related HE. We describe a case of TPN-related HE presenting with diffuse cytotoxic edema which reversed after liver transplantation.Copyright © 2012 by the American Society of Neuroimaging.
