Review[Possible clinical potential in reverting muscular block with sugammadex in anaesthesia and surgery].
Neuromuscular blockers (NMBs) provide good conditions for endotracheal intubation and surgery. NMBs have been associated with higher morbidity and mortality, mainly due to post-operative residual neuromuscular block. This may become history with the advent of sugammadex - an antidote to the NMB rocuronium - which within 1-3 minutes neutralizes the effects of rocuronium. High-dose rocuronium is now an alternative to suxamethonium in acute or short procedures and in a situation, where ventilation/intubating cannot be performed, sugammadex can reverse the rocuronium blockade within minutes.

Case Reports[Children with hip pain should be seen by a specialist].
Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) is a relatively rare growth disturbance in the proximal femoral growth plate. It results in posterior displacement of the femoral head. ⋯ SCFE is typically seen in overweight boys, but may also occur in normal-weight teenage girls. Early image diagnostic assessment of both hips is crucial, since slip severity and consequently the risk of disabling complications are strongly correlated to late diagnosis.

Review[Screening for anal intra-epithelial neoplasia among men, who have sex with men].
Anal intra-epithelial neoplasia is of high incidence in the post-highly active antiretroviral treatment era especially among men, who have sex with men (MSM). This article focuses on the relation between infection with oncogenic HPV types and anal intra-epithelial neoplasia, and the potential progression to anal cancer. Vaccine studies with the quadrivalent HPV vaccine in HIV-negative MSM shows promising results regarding preventing development of HGAIN.

Case Reports[Dabigatran as cause of severe gastrointestinal bleeding in a Jehovah's Witness patient].
We report a case of severe gastrointestinal bleeding in a Jehovah's Witness patient after ten days of treatment with dabigatran. The patient refused to have a blood transfusion due to belief. ⋯ The patient was in a life-threatening condition and the haemoglobin level fell to nadir 2 mmol/l, before the bleeding stopped after one week's pause of dabigatran therapy. Since an antidote to dabigatran does not exist, precaution is needed when treating patients, who might refuse to have blood transfusion.
