Lipid and nutritional profiles of Caribbean patients with chronic kidney disease.
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is marked by the deterioration of kidney function and derangement in lipid metabolism. Thus, we aim at evaluating the lipid and nutritional parameters of Caribbean patients with CKD. ⋯ Dyslipidemia is common in CKD patients and is therefore, imperative that, routine lipid profile analysis be detailed in order to check any trend towards the development of CVD.

Factors influencing clinical pregnancy outcome of in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection in older women.
To analyse the factors influencing clinical pregnancy outcome of in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI) in older women, and to establish a risk prediction model. ⋯ The risk prediction model for the pregnancy outcome of IVF/ICSI in older women helps evaluate the fertility probability and risk, providing references for formulating reasonable assisted reproduction plans.

Meta AnalysisBoosting COVID-19 vaccine inoculation and booster shots: a systematic review and meta-analysis of factors that influence Coronavirus vaccine uptake in practice.
Vaccines alone do not control pandemics, but vaccinations. The hope of COVID-19 pandemic control is hinged on vaccinations and other public health measures. This systematic review/meta-analysis (SR/MA) investigated the factors that inform coronavirus vaccine uptake globally in an attempt to improve COVID-19 immunization. ⋯ Wanning and acquaintance's vaccination status as factors to vaccination are insights the present paper is bringing to the limelight. Health promotion and COVID-19 vaccination planning are crucial for enhancing vaccine uptake.

Meta AnalysisGarlic supplementation for the treatment of chronic liver disease: a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
The efficacy of garlic supplementation for chronic liver disease remains controversial. We conduct a meta-analysis to explore the influence of garlic supplementation versus placebo on the treatment of chronic liver disease. ⋯ Garlic supplementation is effective to treat chronic liver disease.
